rehaKIND courses

The certified rehaKIND expert advisor qualification is widely recognised – even by health insurers – and proves that you are a specialist in the care of children and young people with special needs.

By completing three modules over a total of 4 training days, carers can become rehaKIND expert advisors:

You can freely choose the topics in the modules according to your interests and your professional situation and take the modules in the order that suits your diary. Once you have successfully attended all 3 modules, we will certify that you are a rehaKIND expert advisor. Module 1: one-day course on theoretical background  – all you need to know about the following topics: legal issues, ICF, structures, procedures and documentation.

Module 2: two-day course incl. exam on the basics of aid provision (bio-mechanics, medical background, therapy, aids) – for therapists and experienced specialist retail staff.

Module 3: one-day workshops and practical seminars for all those involved in the provision of care – covering care topics according to: GMFCS, age and use, detailed look at aids, patients “live”.

In all this, the needs of the young people we support and their caregivers take centre stage (in line with the ICF) – only by considering their everyday lives, wishes, personal resources and motivation can we expect success.

• Inhouse-courses: We deliver rehaKIND training tailored to you at your place of work – you choose the topics and focus points for participants from your company and professional environment.
• Courses for therapists: For experienced carers and participants with prior medical knowledge (therapists, nursing staff etc.) we have a special offer.
• rehaKIND beginner’s course: those coming from other careers into children’s rehabilitation and job starters spend two days acquiring the necessary basic background and then can move on to the modular training units to become a rehaKIND expert advisor.

Additionally, this training course can also provide interested administrative staff and those new in the profession with the basics in the structures of childcare. You can gain practical experience working with children and their aids by taking part in an internship in selected organisations – only for rehaKIND members (due to the COVID-19 situation this option is facing restrictions).

rehaKIND Schulungen finden in ausgewählten Tagungshotels und Betrieben/ Kliniken statt**. In der aktuellen Situation haben wir unser Angebot um digitale Formate ergänzt. Die Kursgebühren enthalten sämtliche Unterrichtsmaterialien* und eine Verpflegung** für die Dauer der Fortbildung (gilt nur für Präsenzveranstaltungen). Teilnehmer können auf eigene Kosten im Tagungshotel** auch übernachten. Hierfür hat rehaKIND ein (begrenztes) abrufbares Zimmerkontingent zur Verfügung.

Mit der Online Anmeldung auf unserer Website bucht Ihr rechtsverbindlich die von Euch ausgewählte rehaKIND-Veranstaltung. Hotelinfos, weitere Angaben zum Ablauf und eine Rechnung schicken wir Euch nach der Anmeldung zeitnah per Mail an die angegebene Lieferadresse/ Rechnungsadresse zu. Ermäßigungen sind in der Bestellbestätigung noch nicht ausgewiesen, werden aber automatisch bei Rechnungsstellung berücksichtigt (Ermäßigung aufgrund einer rehaKIND-Mitgliedschaft, mehrere Teilnehmer aus einem Haus und andere Ermäßigung).

Bitte beachtet das Zahlungsziel: Eine Teilnahme ist nur nach bereits beglichener Rechnung möglich.

Zusatz Corona bedingt

• Alle Tagungsräume entsprechen ihrer Ausstattung, Bestuhlung und Belüftung nach den aktuellen behördlichen Auflagen vor Ort und den allgemein geltenden AHA+L Regelungen.
• Die Teilnehmenden werden zeitnah zur aktuellen Situation vor Ort informiert. Bei kritischen Infektionslagen und/oder entsprechenden behördlichen Auflagen behalten wir uns vor, das Seminar (soweit möglich) auf ein digitales Format umzustellen. Sollte die Veranstaltung durch behördliche Auflagen nicht möglich sein, teilen wir dies umgehend mit. Im Falle einer Stornierung durch rehaKIND/ den Veranstalter erhaltet Ihr die kompletten Seminargebühren zurück. Für anfallende Reisekosten bzw. Übernachtungskosten aufgrund unserer Stornierung tragen wir keine Haftung.
• Eine Teilnahme an Präsenzveranstaltungen ist nur möglich ohne Krankheitssymptome und unter Einhaltung der vor Ort geltenden Verhaltensregeln. Das ist für uns selbstverständlich. Bitte bringt deshalb in jedem Fall einen geeigneten Nasen-Mundschutz mit und bedenkt dabei die Dauer der Veranstaltung (Ersatzmaske zum Wechsel bei Durchfeuchtung etc.)
• Unsere Referenten sind angehalten, die Einhaltung dieser Regelungen zum Schutz aller Anwesenden einzufordern und können bei offensichtlichen Krankheitssymptomen und/oder Nichteinhaltung der Hygieneregeln den weiteren Besuch des Seminares untersagen. Die Teilnahmegebühren werden dabei nicht erstattet.

Storno- und Umbuchungsgebühren

• Eine Stornierung bzw. Umbuchung der bereits gebuchten Fortbildung ist bis 4 Wochen vor Kursbeginn möglich.
• Im Falle einer Umbuchung oder Stornierung wird eine einmalige Bearbeitungsgebühr von 50 € zzgl. MwSt. erhoben. Die bereits gezahlte Schulungsgebühr wird abzüglich der Bearbeitungsgebühr erstattet.
• Bei kurzfristigeren Absagen bleibt die gesamte Kursgebühr weiterhin fällig. Die Gebühr kann allerdings gerne auf eine andere Person übertragen werden.
• Im Falle einer Vertretung benötigen wir diese Info und den Namen des Vertreters oder der Vertreterin bis spätestens eine Woche vor Veranstaltungsbeginn.

Corona bedingt haben wir unsere Stornobedingungen angepasst:

• Unsere Präsenzseminare sind aufgrund besonderer Pandemie-bedingter Umstände bis auf Weiteres auch innerhalb der 4-Wochen Frist stornierbar. Digitale Formate sind von dieser Regelung ausgenommen.
• Eine Erstattung der berechneten Gebühren ist allerdings nur teilweise möglich, da wir mit unseren Tagungshotels und den vertraglich vereinbarten Tagungspauschalen gebunden sind.
• Wir berechnen bei eintägigen Seminaren eine Gebühr von 95€ inkl. MwSt (70€ Tagungspauschale und 25€ Bearbeitungsgebühr) und bei zweitägigen Veranstaltungen eine Gebühr von 165€ inkl. MwSt. (2x 70€ Tagungsgebühr und einmalige Bearbeitungsgebühr von 25€).
• Bei Nichteinhaltung der Hygieneregeln und/oder plötzlich auftauchenden Krankheitssymptomen und einem daraufhin ausgesprochenen Verweis durch den/die Referenten*in entfällt die besondere Stornoregelung und die gesamte Gebühr bleibt fällig.

Registration procedure – new

1. Registration is online to make sure we have all the necessary data to enrol you. You can find the current rehaKIND course programme and detailed information on course content and lecturers under “Upcoming events – rehaKIND e.V.”
2. Please, choose the event you and your colleagues want to take part in. You can register by filling in a contact form in 6 easy steps.
3. Please, enter the names of the customer ordering, the company and the participating persons including personal e-mail addresses. All participants will be asked about their occupation and professional experience. At least two years professional experience in children’s rehabilitation are required to take part in the course to become a certified expert advisor. Participants coming from other careers into children’s rehabilitation and job starters should attend the beginner’s course before starting the modules leading to the qualification as a rehaKIND expert advisor.
4. Once all mandatory fields of the registration form have been completed, you will be presented with an overview of your order. To complete the registration, confirm the order. You will then have made a binding purchase and will be liable to pay the fee.
5. You will receive an automated confirmation e-mail stating all details of your order.
6. We will process your details and promptly send you further information about the events. Your invoice will be e-mailed separately to the invoice address.
7. Please, transfer the course fees to the account on the invoice using the invoice number as reference number. Please note that you can only take part in the course if the course fees have been paid in full.

Professional title “expert advisor”: listing, certification and obligatory further training.

After attending one course from modules 1, 2 and 3 respectively, the participant is awarded the title rehaKIND expert advisor and their name will be listed in the roll of rehaKIND expert advisors and on the rehaKIND homepage.

• The expert adviser certificate is valid for two years.
• Professional skills and knowledge has to be refreshed regularly: Attending a one-day seminar from modules 1 or 3 extends the validity of your certificate by another year. Attending several seminars from these modules allows you to extend your certificate’s validity correspondingly.
• Failure to attend the seminar necessary for re-certification will result in the lapsing of both the certificate and the listing. Fresh certification is possible at any time.
• Certification and listing as rehaKIND expert advisor are personal and non-transferable.
• Expert advisors should advise rehaKIND of a change of their company’s address or a change of employer without being prompted.
• Use of the rehaKIND logo can be permitted subject to a written agreement for the duration of the certificate’s validity.

Data protection

The data required for processing the transaction will be stored and, if necessary, passed on to our service partners, e.g. the courier/venue. Naturally, all data will be handled in strict confidence and the customer’s personal data will be protected as required by law. The GDPR applies.

Governing law and place of jurisdiction

German law shall apply exclusively with the exception of the UN sales convention even if the customer’s home or business address is abroad.

The sole place of jurisdiction regarding any present or future claims arising from business relationships with merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law is the registered seat of rehaKIND e.V..

The same place of jurisdiction applies when the customer has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, moves their permanent residence or usual abode outside of Germany or his permanent residence or usual abode is not known at the time the legal action is filed.
