#A powerful voice for children’s rehabilitation

News

rehaKIND e. V. | Internationale Fördergemeinschaft Kinder- und Jugendrehabilitation

rehaKIND news. Shaping the future together – for children with special needs.

It is the mission of the support association rehaKIND to use expertise to improve the situation of all those involved and to give an under-represented and relatively small group of people a powerful voice. To do this, we speak up about current developments and activities in expert bodies, media and politics. Our regular postings in social media and our community, characterised by intensive exchanges and mutual support, have created a sense of belonging and have started to move things!

rehaKIND is constantly working to raise awareness in media, politics, and society for the wishes and needs of children and young people with disabilities.

You can find information about our activities here: large trade fairs and congresses within our field of expertise and arranging face-to-face meetings of professionals with families of children with disabilities are at the core of our work. We develop specialist information to share with cost bearers, medical professionals, therapists, as well as care and teaching staff. The topics range widely from science, medical care and therapy to legal issues.

These media reports are not available in English because we only publish in German across Austria, Switzerland and Germany. However, we are happy to answer in English if you contact us by e-mail, phone or in person.

rehaKIND unterstützt Petition : „Stoppt die Blockade der Krankenkassen bei der Versorgung schwerstbehinderter Kinder/Erwachsener“

During the authorisation process for disability aids their children are in need of, parents are being forced to go through rejection and objection procedures. This is to the detriment of the children’s development as valuable time is lost. That is why rehaKIND supports the petition “Put an end to health insurers’ obstruction in the care of severely disabled children/adults”.
